Magical Schools – The Preschool and Elementary School were founded in 2009 to educate children through the Montessori Method and to foster the natural talents of each child. Our vision is to bring up happy and respectful children who come to school with satisfaction and eagerness, and who also will leave with a strong understanding of life and a solid base for future learning.

Preschool
We strive to educate responsible, independent children who are curious and respect each other.
We educate our children through the Montessori Method.
Elementary school
We educate our children though the Montessori Method with the emphasis on English language from the 1st grade.
We provide for our Elementary children transportation to school.
What is Montessori
It is an educational system developed by Maria Montessori which is based on understanding and respecting each child and their needs. Montessori’s key word is the “prepared environment”, where children could freely choose from a variety of interesting Montessori materials. The role of the teacher is to be an adviser and a helper to a child. The teacher closely observes the children to catch a moment when a particular child is inclined to learn a new skill. Montessori calls this the child’s “sensitive period” for a particular skill. Montessori classrooms are of a mixed age. The Primary classroom consists of children from 3 to 6 years of age. The lower elementary classroom has children from 6 to 9 years of age and the upper elementary classroom from 9 to 11 years.
Education
We are remodeling our buildings in Prague 1 (Pštrossova Street) and in Prague 10 (Kodaňská Street).
